Global Risk Summit

The inaugural Global Risk Summit, hosted by the City of London Corporation on 21 May 2025, will showcase the strength of the London Market: its unparalleled access to risk capital, world-leading innovation and expertise in risk management and deep pools of talent and technology. 

The Summit will be part of an interactive, in-person week of engagements and events hosted across the City of London convening the insurance industry and risk owners from across the economy to share views on, and develop solutions, for the global risks affecting all boardrooms. As cutting-edge technology advances and global conflicts persist, the risks of AI, cyber security, geopolitics, sustainability and supply chain issues must be considered in greater depth in terms of innovative solutions and opportunities. The Summit will assess the central role of the London Market and wider industry in addressing existing and emerging risks that businesses are facing worldwide. There will also be opportunities to discuss public-private partnerships, capital, regulation and protection gaps. 

The Summit will also provide a platform for the C-suite industry leaders to include their next generation leaders in the strategic-level dialogue through activities in the programme dedicated to rising talent and succession planning in the risk industry.
