Delivery and set-up

The Orchestration Group is chaired by Wholesale Digital Markets Champion Christopher Woolard CBE. You can download it's Terms of Reference here. 

The Orchestration Group will provide senior industry leadership, coordination and oversight of the Wholesale Digital Markets Champion (DMC) programme, as set out in the Digital Markets Champion's - First report. It will oversee delivery of the programme's actions and recommendations through nine Action Groups and one dedicated sub-group coordinate industry support for government and regulatory initiatives

As part of the DMC programme of delivery, BlackRock and NatWest, drawing on the expertise of the Action Groups, will lead an end-to-end repo use case fully on chain by April 2027.

The Orchestration Group, Action Groups and wider Industry Taskforce will provide input and support to the Champion's second report, due in July 2027. Through this work, the Group will help accelerate the adoption of wholesale digital markets in the UK and strengthen the UK's position as a global leader in digital finance.
