Testimonials from our sponsors

Prudential logoPrudential was proud to take part in the Net Zero Delivery Summit, between the two COPs, looking at a topic very close to Prudential’s ESG strategy.

We believe it is essential to take an inclusive and long term approach to climate finance which is just and brings our communities with us.

Prudential cares deeply about advocating for emerging markets in the global context for a transition to net zero to be both fair and inclusive for the societies in which we operate.

We want to be part of the solution on transition finance, on green finance and to ensure we leave no one behind working in partnership with peers, governments, the wider industry infrastructure and MDBs across our markets. Last year we published our white paper on Financing a Just and Inclusive Transition that looks to set the tone for asset owners to be more active in the green and social transition.

This event brought stakeholders together from around the world to discuss these topics and we are looking forward to building out this work in the run up to the COP in UAE, and further collaborating with the City of London Corporation on their international green finance programme.

The Global Biodiversity Framework set a target of mobilising US$200 billion per year of finance for nature. There’s a lot of work to do to reach that target, and we need to find practical solutions to move from ambition to action and catalyse private sector support at pace and at scale. There can be no net zero without nature, so we must work together to accelerate the global transition to a nature positive and net zero future.

The Net Zero Delivery Summit (NZDS) in 2023 showed that delivery is the key word to focus on. The level of engagement from those in attendance has shown just how far we've come in terms of those wanting to take action and represents an opportunity to define a new chapter for action. We’ve now got to move from rhetoric to real action and events such as the NZDS are imperative to helping make this happen.
