Net Zero Delivery Summit 2025

The Net Zero Delivery Summit marks the crucial halfway point between COP summits. This high-impact moment accelerates climate ambition. It is where leaders in finance, policy, and sustainability come together to drive progress beyond pledges. This fourth annual Net Zero Delivery Summit is on 23 June, part of London Climate Action Week, spotlighting London’s dedication to sustainable finance.

The event is hosted by The Rt Hon. The Lord Mayor of the City of London, Alastair King, and Policy Chairman Chris Hayward. It will be held in collaboration with partners the Sustainable Markets Initiative and the International Energy Agency, and sponsors Aviva, EY, and Intercontinental Exchange (ICE).

Key discussion areas will include: 

  • Accelerating decarbonisation by scaling the transition finance market to unlock more finance for transformation, including in hard-to-abate sectors.  
  • Powering the net zero transition by boosting finance into critical climate projects and scale the necessary tech by expanding and leveraging carbon markets.
  • Mobilising private finance for nature and adaptation by using the unique opportunity posed by COP30.  
  • Boosting support for countries most vulnerable to the impacts of climate change by driving innovation to mobilise climate finance. 

The Summit will reaffirm the UK’s steadfast commitment to leading in green finance.

Net Zero Delivery Summit 2024

The third annual Net Zero Delivery Summit took place on 4 June 2024.

With the need for innovative approaches and products a central theme across all sessions, the Summit took stock of progress on key outcomes from COP28 and considered how action can be driven forward in the run up to COP29 and beyond.
